With a degree in Zoology, Karen has had a long-standing interest and understanding of animals and the natural environment.
Self-taught as an artist, Karen has sold watercolour paintings of birds, animals and landscapes over many years. She now creates beautiful 3D Artwork and sculptures on mopani wood. Taking her inspiration from nature, the way lizards and geckos scurry up walls, Karen has created the stunning and unique 3D artwork featured on this website. |
| The lizards are individually crafted from clay and painted to blend in with the colourful background. The finished artwork is mounted into fine hardwood frames. Finished dimensions 28 x 28cm. Continuing with the theme of camouflage, Karen also produces artwork with butterflies replacing geckos.
